CES Last Gadget Standing: The Top 10

EVENT DETAILS: Last Gadget Standing is on Jan 10 at 10:30am in the Las Vegas Convention Center’s North Hall and features the Top 10 Gadgets of CES as chosen by the audience. We hope you can join us. If you’re in Vegas, follow us on Twitter here.

After narrowing down the entries from hundreds of applicants, the judges of CES’ Last Gadget Standing (FixYa included) have made their picks. Below is a sneak preview:

WowWee JoeBot: Um guys, need I say more? It’s a freaking robot. This JoeBot is meant to be an entertaining companion and sidekick. Apparently this little guy will dance while you beat box. More>>

emWave PSR: Lauren writes, “The emWave PSR is an affordable, portable biofeedback tool.” This is particularly important as our experts have warned us about the high price of most products in this category. More>>

MSI Winbook: The Wind is the first 10-inch notebook to feature an Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor. It’s the perfect mini laptop for trips. More>>

BugLabs BUG: The BUG is a modular prototyping tool that allows hobbyists and developers to mix and match a touch screen display, motion detector, GPS module and camera. Everything snaps together like lego and is an open source Linux-based product. This is a great tool for tinkering. More>>

Eye-Fi Video Card: Eye-Fi entered and won last year’s Last Gadget Standing. This year’s entry automatically geo-tags and uploads videos as they’re taken. More>>

Motorola MotoZine ZN5: A 5 megapixel camera in a phone. How else are you going to get great quality celebrity sighting photos? AWW YEAH! More>>

T-Mobile G1 Android: I’m thinking this one doesn’t need much of an introduction. It’s called the “T-Mobile G1 Powered by Google Android” but we all know it’s the Google phone. This is Google’s best effort to kill the iPhone. Thoughts?

Flip Mino HD: Lauren writes, “Flip MinoHD is said to be the “world’s smallest high definition camcorder” at just over 3 ounces. It’s sleeker than the original Flip Video, and some of the most recent Flip-related improvements include capacity for 60 minutes of 720p widescreen HD video, new FlipShare drag-and-drop software, and custom design on the Flip MinoHD’s exterior (i.e., skins).” They seem to have addressed some past problems. More>>

Clickfree Transformer USB Cable: This is the all-in-one backup cable that allows you to turn any USB hard drive into a Clickfree Automatic Backup hard drive. More>>

LiveScribe Pulse SmartPen: This is the reporter, student and stenographer’s best friend. The LiveScribe pen lets the user transcribe notes, interviews and audio with the simple motion of a pen on paper. More>>
