Takeoff Tuesday: Fixya Pro & Updates

In this weeks Takeoff Tuesday, we’re excited to introduce an all new set of features that will help both consumers and business owners connect and engage around their products.

Fixya PRO

First up this week, is Fixya PRO. Fixya PRO has been developed to give local businesses, national retailers, and large brands or manufacturers the ability to easily connect with their customers and engage with new customers on Fixya.

Everyone from small business owners to large manufacturers can now apply to become a Fixya PRO. Once an application is verified and approved, the business is then ready to benefit from the new PRO features we’ve been working on.

1. Receive Recognition While Helping Others

When a PRO provides a solution to a problem, the solution will be highlighted with an all-new Fixya PRO badge. The Fixya PRO badge helps to establish the authenticity of businesses and brands on Fixya. In addition to the badge, a company logo or photo is displayed along with a business tagline within the solution.

This will help PROs to easily build more recognition while helping others on Fixya and will introduce qualified customers to their business.

2. PRO Pages:

Once an application is approved, the public profile is transformed into a PRO Page. PRO Pages give businesses the ability to help customers learn more about their business. PROs can easily display a company logo, contact information, links to their various web & social profiles, and even display a map to their business location.

Updates:

In addition to helping PROs gain recognition and connect with current and new customers, we are also introducing an all-new Updates feature. Updates are a quick way to exchange small snippets, links, videos, or images with followers. Users and experts can now share their thoughts on everything from toasters to iPhones and PROs may want to introduce their latest promotions or product releases. We invite everyone to share what’s new with you.

When an update is posted, it is displayed to the author’s followers within their activity feed. Both the author and their followers can then start a dialog through an easy to use and familiar commenting system. Update authors also have the ability to moderate their updates and any comments. Updates are also available on our mobile website to allow posting when on the go!

Updates are already available to all Fixya members. Just sign in and you’ll notice an all-new section has been added to the member homepage.
