We would like to draw your attention to some changes that have been made to the ranking system.
As you know rankings play a vital part in the way that our community works. They enable the askers to know how the expert done in solving previous problems and gives the experts an important feedback as well as allow them to participate in FixYa’s premium services.

There are now 4 ranks to choose from:
FixYa! – The highest rank. Should be applied when the proposed solution solved the problem.
Helpful – The solution provided helpful information that helped solve the problem or at least provided good directions.
Thanks For Trying – The solution provided some help but didn’t solve the problem.
Inappropriate – The solution had nothing to do with the problem.

And experts are divided into 4 groups:
Guru, Wiz, Master, Guide and apprentice.

Recently we’ve launched a “What You See Is What You Get” (a.k.a. WYSIWYG) version of the post editor.
Which means that you can see your message elements while editing.

In addition you can mark bold or underline important parts of your message, add links to internal and external sites, organize your points in bullets or auto numbering, add videos clips from youtube and pictures from your desktop.

If you’re a keen reader of our blog you’ve probably noticed that the “SupportCast” tool that was at the right end side of the blog has been replaced with our new Support Widget.

This new feature is just out of the oven and offers webmasters to provide FixYa’s services from their site.

Lately we’ve been been receiving a lot of positive attention from the Media and Bloggers. FixYa seems to have captured the imagination of many reporters which found it interesting and useful for their audience.
