Provide Support From Your Site

If you’re a keen reader of our blog you’ve probably noticed that the “SupportCast” tool that was at the right end side of the blog has been replaced with our new Support Widget.

This new feature is just out of the oven and offers webmasters to provide FixYa’s services from their site.

The Widget is distributed per product and offers 3 main services:

1. Recent Solutions – Here the visitors can see the latest Q&A’s and browse through them using the back and forwards buttons.

2. Recent Questions – This tab is intended for experts who wish to see new problems that they may be able to solve.
Widget 2

3. Ask – Allows customers to ask questions on the product directly from the blog/site the widget is placed on.
Widget 3

If you’re interested in using this widget simply go to the product page in FixYa and you’ll find the widget for that product at the bottom of the right pane.

For example here’s a screenshot of Nokia N95 Support page.

Simply click on the “Get This Widget” link and you’ll be directed to the HTML code that should be pasted to your site. That’s it.

The support widget is an excellent way to harness FixYa’s power and provide tech support information for your community.
So far we’ve seen good response for this tool, here’s an example that showcase the potential of the widget at productcritic.com.

We’d love to hear your experience and thoughts at: info at fixya.com.
